Lesson Lengths and Fees
- $75 for a 55 minute private lesson
- $60 for a 40 minute private lesson
Group lessons may be arranged and are determined on a per group basis.
Due to the high demand of Dr. Ragan’s Voice Studio, she maintains a waiting list for singers interested in working with her on a regular basis. However, if you would like to arrange a session for feedback, observations and advise you may do so for a fee of $90.

Payment Options
Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. Studying voice requires a long term commitment from both the teacher and student. Some progress may be made with a few lessons, but the most effective are scheduled weekly lessons. Due to circumstances, sometimes bi-weekly lessons are required and every effort will be made to accommodate students.
Cancellations
A strict 24 hour cancellation policy is maintained for SICKNESS only and must be received by 10:00 a.m. the day before the lesson. If I receive notice previous to this minimum time frame, we will credit the lesson fee to a future month. I DO NOT GIVE MAKE UP LESSONS as my schedule does not allow it. If the lesson is canceled with LESS than 24-hours notice you forfeit the fee.
I realize it is sometimes difficult to gauge whether one should cancel a lesson or not. Do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your concerns. Often times, we can ‘sing around’ a cold if the vocal folds are not involved, other times I can structure a lesson to incorporate theory, ear-training, sight singing or history so you do not miss the lesson time.
I require two weeks notice to discontinue lessons and kindly request that you speak to me in person, NOT email or answering machine.
